for Victims of Sichuan, deliver sunshine to disaster areas¡±. On May 19th
morning, a theme of ¡°To the disaster areas of the sun¡± Disaster
Relief Donation & Sale Campaign is held in the playground of Jingan
Primary School. The whole activity lasts almost 2 hours, raising 82,313.6
yuan for quake relief.
The foundation will be delivered to Red Cross Society of Shanghai for the
earthquake-stricken area rebuilding.
There
are many moving scenes in the process of the campaign.10, 50,100,500 ¡ ¡
Teachers and students put their money into the donation box constantly.
One
pupil in Grade Two donated his 3000 lunar New Year money without hesitation.
When interviewed by the staff, he said: "Last Friday I took part in the
Young Pioneers with honor, I moved when I see the teachers give their own
love one after another today. I believe that every young pioneers and
members will support the victims. We hope that the children in the disaster
areas will be safe and sound. We will accompany them to tide over their

Many students spontaneously sell their books, stationeries, toys,
handicrafts, and daily necessities to support the disaster areas. In the
end, many students still chase the staff and ask for contributions ¡ ¡
The
number of donation was constantly raised during the campaign. ¡°Living with
love, blessing for safety.¡±, ¡°hold our hands, we are in the same boat.¡±
¡°cheering for China, cheering of Sichuan¡± words like these were written
down by students and teachers for sending hope and blessing to victims in
Sichuan earthquake-hit area. People in our school support the victims in
their own way. In face of the disaster, we never lack of courage to fight.
We believe that the Chinese will undoubtedly show unity to fight the
disaster. We hope our donation will contribute into boxes of food, bed
quilts and blocks of brick for thousand of people in the disaster-hit areas
in Sichuan province.
After
the activity, teachers are filled with emotion: ¡°We¡¯re touched by every
second, and we hope our concern may warm the victims in Sichuan disaster
areas!¡± |
